What a great diy tent. I am preparing to make my own. Would be great if you could show us how the seams are made and how did you reinforce the locations where the poles go to the roof. Why did you decide to go out through the wall with the stovepipe instead of roof? Cheers, enjoy outdoors!

Have you heard about Youtube Heroes? What are your thoughts? If you don't know about it, do a search. Censorship at it's finest.

You legend. Was hoping it would be closer to Berowra (near me ). Love your vids. If you can suggest anywhere closer to me would really appreciate it.

Nice tent man! im in the research stage to build mine. I love that yours just works. Simple and thrown together

Yeah, the scout leaders book has a great plan for this tent and a baker tent.

Great vid mate, really enjoyed it. Cool to see an Aussie do the wall tent camp after the wildernessoutfitters series. Great time of year atm to be out and amongst it

Thanks Sovereign Aussie , sure is a top time of year for getting out amongst it. I'll have to have a look at his vids. Safe travels mate, Frazer

Thanks mate, it's a nice comfortable way to spend a couple of days outdoors without making a fire scar.

Great to see you in another video (well, bits of you). Looks like it was a great trip. I loved how calm you sounded a being disturbed mid pee! And thanks for the tip about the gloves, I've got a riggers pair but will look out for the B&D pair next time I'm in Bunnings. Cheers and all the best!
phrayzar (2 years ago)
+wattshappenin thanks mate, garden section for the gloves.

That is a really cool setup. Interesting story about the dogs. Do you know what kind of dogs they might be? Thanks for sharing - Martin
NorwegianWoods (2 years ago)
Yeah, loud sounds in the middle of the night always gives me the creeps. Last time I was out there was a roe deer barking next to my tent. I know it is totally harmless but it didn't sound like it :)
phrayzar (2 years ago)
+NorwegianWoods Thanks For the comment Martin. I'm guessing that the dogs were just feral(returned to the wild) dogs. Australia has a problem with both feral dogs and cats, mainly because of very large areas for them to live and native animals that don't have many natural predators. It's not too dangerous, as most of these dogs are only one or two generations away from being domestic, so generally not a threat to humans. It nearly stopped me peeing mid flow though ;).

Great setup. Love the traditional styling and gear.
phrayzar (2 years ago)
+Gear Grubs Yeah, now that I have it, I can see it's usefulness and appeal.
